Blue chips push ADX to open in red

Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened in the minus column in Sunday’s early trades, weighed by the real estate stocks.

The general index fell 0.7% or 31 points to reach 4,359.47 points by 10:50am UAE time.

The UAE markets’ main indexes are expected to see important resistance levels on Sunday, analysts earlier told Mubasher.

The real estate sector lost 1.5%, pressured by Aldar Properties.

The banks sector levelled down 0.6% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) retreated 0.4%.

The energy sector slid 4.3% after TAQA and Dana Gas decreased 6.12% and 3.8% in a row.

Turnover reached AED 16.47 million after 22 million shares were traded through 221 transactions.
