Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse (BHB) saw a positive performance on Thursday, amid the rise of blue chips.
The main index advanced 0.44% or 4.9 points to reach 1,125.07 points.
The market saw trading of 1.17 million shares through 30 transactions, with a turnover of BHD 240,840.
The banks sector led risers after adding 0.7% as Ahli United Bank (AUB) and Al Salam Bank grew 1.56% and 1.11% respectively.
The investment sector also went up 0.54% as Al Baraka Banking Group advanced 5.26%.
On the flipside, the services sector slid 0.15% as Bahrain Maritime and Mercantile International (BMMI) led losers with a 1.18% decline.
