Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Wednesday’s trading session in the green, amid a rise in most blue chips.
The general index went up 1.1% or 36.6 points to reach 3,348.98 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The banks sector advanced 1.33% as Amlak Finance and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) grew.
The real estate sector increased 1.3%, backed by the uptrend of Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties.
The consumer staples sector levelled up 0.75% after Dubai Parks and Resorts rose 0.77%.
Lastly, telecom added 0.3% as du saw a positive performance.
The market saw a trading of 152.58 million shares through 2,131 transactions, with a turnover of AED 187.42 million.
