Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Monday’s early trades, in line with the rise of blue chips especially in the real estate and investment sectors.
The main index rose 0.36% or 12.63 points to reach 3,495.95 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The real estate sector led gainers with a 0.66% rise, backed by Emaar Properties which advanced 0.7%. The investment sector also went up 0.62% as DFM Company levelled up 0.75%.
The transportation sector grew 0.61% as Air Arabia climbed 0.75%. Likewise, the banks sector grew 0.08% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) increased 0.2%.
The market saw trading of 58.34 million shares through 564 transactions, with a turnover of AED 62.40 million.
