Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Tuesday in the green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) gained 12.69 points, or 0.15% to 8,242.82 points.
TASI’s trading volume stood at 155 million shares, up from 145.75 million shares on Monday, while liquidity rose to SAR 4.73 billion ($1.26 billion), from SAR 4.26 billion ($1.14 billion).
The food and beverages sector increased 1.14%, followed by energy with 1.03%, materials with 0.39%, telecommunication services with 0.21%, and banks with 0.11%.
On the flipside, the insurance sector fell 1.5%, while real estate investments traded funds (REITs) sector decreased 1.03%.
The Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Tawuniya) stock tumbled 10%, whereas Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company’s (Enaya) stock was the best performer after growing 9.95%.
The Saudi Basic Industries Corporation’s (SABIC) stock topped in terms of liquidity after generating SAR 1.25 billion, while Alinma Bank’s stock led in terms of traded volume after 52.6 million shares were exchanged.
In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, fell 11.69 points, or 0.41%, reaching 2,805.89 points.
Al-Omran Industrial Trading dropped 3.57%, whereas Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock levelled up 19.91%.
