Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Sunday’s trading session in the red territory, pressured by the fall of the energy, real estate, and banks sectors.
The general index inched down 0.12%, or 11.21 points, ending the session at 5,380.67 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 90.014 million after 23.30 million shares exchanged hands through 918 transactions.
The energy sector topped the decliners losing 0.63% as Dana Gas and ADNOC Distribution fell 2.02% and 0.38%, respectively.
Similarly, the real estate sector plunged 0.32% on the back of Aldar Properties’ 0.53% drop, while the banks sector decreased by 0.30% as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) went down 0.59%.
Meanwhile, the commodities sector headed the gainers adding 2.14% as Agthia grew 4.27%.
