Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Tuesday’s trading session with mixed performance, dragged by the fall of blue chips.
By 10:45 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) went down by 0.23%, or 18 points, to 7,953.03 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 22.79 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 509.38 million through 20,000 transactions.
The transportation sector topped the bourse’s decliners with 0.43%, followed by the basic material and telecommunication sectors with 0.11% and 0.03%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the utilities sector headed the risers adding 0.91%, while the energy sector levelled up by 0.825%.
On the other hand, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, inched up by 0.01%, or 0.48 points, to 3,906.35 points.
