Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index rose 0.84% or 13.63 points to close at 28,29.23 points on Wednesday, boosted by heavy-weighted stocks.
The trading volume amounted to 192.73 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 242.07 million.
The consumer staples sector upped 2.3% after DXB Entertainments gained 2.5% to AED 0.362.
The transportation sector rose 1.4% as Aramex levelled up 3.06% to AED 4.38.
The insurance sector jumped 1.06%, boosted by Salama’s stock, which rose 1.97% to AED 0.724.
On the back of strong third-quarter financial results, the real estate sector upped 0.98% after Emaar Properties gained 1.55% to AED 5.24, Damac Properties rose 1.48% and Arabtec Holding saw a 0.89% increase to AED 2.28
