Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’ (ADX) general index went down 7.19 points, or 0.16%, to close at 4,569.85 points on Tuesday, dragged down by blue chips.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 27.79 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to AED 55.06 million.
The energy sector shed 1.33%, as Taqa dropped 4.35% and Dana Gas declined 0.99%.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, sank 0.6% each.
The investment sector fell 0.53% after Waha Capital decreased by 0.58%.
In contrast, the real estate sector added 1.68%, as Eshraq Properties surged 5.17%.
Dana Gas topped the ADX in terms of trading volume and value, with 6.6 million traded shares and a turnover of AED 6.6 million.
