Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Sunday’s trading session in red territory, pushed down by the real estate, telecommunication, and banks sectors.
The general index inched down 0.31%, or 16.13 points, ending the first session of the week at 5,226.46 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 27.172 million after 26.37 million shares exchanged hands through 735 transactions.
The real estate sector topped the decliners after falling 1.38% as Aldar Properties went down 1.10%
Similarly, the telecommunication sector and its sole stock, Etisalat, levelled down 0.72% each, while the banks sector inched down 0.13% after Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank dropped 0.93%.
On the other hand, the energy sector headed the gainers and added 0.59% as Dana Gas grew 1.26%.
