Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Tuesday’s trading session with a negative performance,
The main index levelled down 73.67 points, or 0.70%, to finish the mid-week session at 10,482.14 points.
The bourse’s traded volume stood at 7.24 million shares, up from 6.12 million on Monday, while trading value increased to QAR 225.45 million, versus QAR 160.11 million in the session before.
The banks and financial services sector inched down 0.77% as Doha Bank’s stock levelled down 2.61%, and the stock of the heavyweight Qatar National Bank (QNB) went down 1.01%.
The industrials sector shed 0.72% after Gulf Warehousing Company’s stock declined 2.23%.
On the other hand, the real estate sector edged up 0.29% as Ezdan Holding Group’s stock rose 0.78%.
Salam International Investment Limited’s (SIIS) stock was the worst performer after losing 2.71%, while the Commercial Bank of Qatar’s (CBQ) stock topped gainers after going up 1.63%.
Doha Bank’s stock was the most active in terms of trading volume after 1.04 million shares were exchanged, while QNB’s stock generated the highest liquidity with QAR 47.43 million.
