Dubai – Mubasher: Boeing Company launched the 777X business jet in Dubai at the Middle East Business Aviation Association Show (MEBAA).
The new model can fly halfway across the world without stopping, compared to the other business aircraft, the US planemaker said in a statement on Monday.
“Our most exclusive customers want to travel with the best space and comfort and fly directly to their destination,” Greg Laxton, Boeing Business Jets head, said.
The new jet is offered in two models with the 777-8 and 777-9 offering the longest range 11,645 nautical miles.
“The new BBJ 777X will be able to do this like no other airplane before it, redefining ultra-long range VIP travel,” Laxton added.
It is worth mentioning that more than half of Boeing’s orders are in the Middle East.
