Boeing mulls opening regional office in Egypt

Cairo – Mubasher: Aircraft manufacturing Boeing is considering inaugurating a regional office in Cairo, president of Boeing MENA and Turkey Bernard Dunn has said.

He added that the US planemaker also plans to execute a joint project with one of Egypt’s sovereign entities, local newspaper Shorouk News reported.

Egyptian president Abdul Fattah El-Sisi had met with Boeing International’s Marc Allen to discuss plans of establishing a local and regional centre in the North African nation that covers planes' maintenance and operations in the Middle East and Africa, as well as developing a part of EgyptAir’s fleet.
