Dubai – Mubasher: Borouge company has commenced the construction of its fifth polypropylene unit in the UAE, according to a company statement released on Tuesday.
The new unit at Borouge 3 plant is expected to have a production capacity of 480,000 tonnes per year, boosting the company’s output by 255%.
The unit is planned to be completed in the third quarter of 2021, Borouge revealed, giving no further details on its cost.
