Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian on-demand delivery startup Bosta has raised a multi-million funding in a Series A round of investment from Europe’s second largest parcel delivery network DPDgroup and the Egyptian e-payment platform Fawry.
This is the first investment of DPDgroup in the Egyptian market, according to a statement on Sunday.
The Egyptian instant delivery startup, which served over 5,000 e-commerce businesses, previously secured funding from Fawry, Cairo Angels, and Numu Capital.
In 2019, the most populous Arab nation came in the second place in terms of the value of investment deals in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Bosta’s co-founder and CEO said, Mohamed Ezzat, citing data from MAGNiTT.
