Boursa Kuwait closes Monday higher

Kuwait - Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session in the green zone; the price index levelled up by 0.96% or 62.91 points to 6,627.57 points, the weighted index gained 1.18%, and Kuwait-15 rose by 1.39%.

The market’s turnover declined to KWD 10.64 million from KWD 20.93 million in the previous session, and the trading volume decreased to 119.95 million shares from 162.69 million.

The oil and gas segment topped gainers with 3.18%, on the back of IPG which rose by 6.5%.

The consumer services sector rose by 1.71%, in line with the 9.4% rise of Future Kid which was the top winner.

Meanwhile, the healthcare sector was the only decliner with a fall of 0.14%, dragged by Yiaco Medical which lost 0.95%.

Manazel Holding was the most active stock on which 6.41 million shares were traded, falling 3.77%.

KFH recorded the highest trading value of about KWD 959,020.
