Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session 0.37% or 25.4 points higher at 6,837.42 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose by 0.57% and 0.62%, respectively.
The financial services segment topped eight gainers with 0.74%, backed by KFIC which rose by 6.97%.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas segment led three decliners with 0.29%, dragged by Senergy which lost 2.5%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 49.8% to KWD 10.44 million on Monday from KWD 6.97 million in the previous session after 56.05 million shares were traded compared to 47.75 million.
NBK recorded the highest turnover of KWD 2.07 million.
Al Salam was the most active stock on which 10.57 million shares were traded, rising 0.9%.
National Industries topped the winners with 9.09%, while Gulf Franchising led losers by 13.1%.
