Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday, the last session in 2018, in green amid higher trading activity.
The consumer services segment topped six gainers with 1.9%, while the oil and gas sector led four decliners with 1.3%.
IFA Hotels was the top winner with a rise of 18.7%, while First Takaful led the losers with 10%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 26.8% to KWD 19.96 million on Monday from KWD 14.16 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 39.8% to 140.53 million shares from 100.54 million.
NBK posted the highest liquidity of KWD 2.48 million, the stock added 0.12%.
Aayan Leasing was the most active stock on which 30.7 million shares were traded, the stock went up 1.63%.
