Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s session with an increase, as the All-Share and Premier markets added 0.38% each, while the Main Market index gained 0.37%.
The rise of Boursa Kuwait on Monday comes as part of the fluctuating performance in the recent sessions, capital market analyst Moustafa Al Jarhy told Mubasher.
The oil and gas segment topped eight gainers with 3.6%, while the real estate and consumer goods sectors led the decliners with 0.27% and 0.73%, respectively.
Warba Insurance headed the winners with 19.4%, while Tahssilat led the losers with 9.5%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 22% to KWD 20.02 million on Monday from KWD 25.65 million in the previous session after the trading volume decreased by 25.6% to 166.17 million shares from 223.29 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest trading value of KWD 3.26 million, the stock added 0.23%.
Aayan Leasing was the most active stock on which 29.44 million shares were exchanged, the stock went down 1%.
