Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session with a decrease, as the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets went down 0.02% each.
The insurance segment led six decliners with 1.04%, while the consumer services sector topped four gainers with 3.14%.
Tamdeen Real Estate was the top loser with a fall of 10%, while Gulf Investment House (GIH) topped the winners with 25.5%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity shrank by 27% to KWD 9.84 million on Monday compared to KWD 13.47 million in the prior session after the trading volume declined by 13.1% to 52.9 million shares from 60.86 million.
The Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK) posted the highest trading value of KWD 1.18 million, the stock went down 0.75%.
GIH was the most active stock on which 7 million shares were traded.
