Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait gained 0.37% or 25 points to close Monday’s session at 6,748.54 points.
Similarly, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices were up 0.41% and 0.49%, respectively.
The financial services segment topped six gainers with 1.23%, in line with the 18.2% rise of Tahssilat.
Meanwhile, the consumer services sector led six decliners with 0.91%, dragged by Kuwait Cinema which lost 19.2%.
The market’s liquidity increased to KWD 13.75 million on Monday from KWD 7.25 million in the previous session, after the trading volume grew to 88.09 million shares from 51.24 million.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 19.74 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 3.33 million, rising 3.01%.
