Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session with an increase, as the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets added 0.08%, 0.07%, and 0.09%, respectively.
The telecom segment topped three gainers with 1.15%, while the financial services sector led eight decliners with 0.95%.
Boubyan Holding was the top winner with 13.24%, while First Takaful led the losers with 11.6%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover decreased by 32.5% to KWD 12.9 million on Monday from KWD 19.1 million in the previous session after the trading volume rose by 0.4% to 101.64 million shares from 101.28 million.
Despite the increase witnessed in Boursa Kuwait, liquidity registered low levels, capital market analyst Yaqoub Mashaan told Mubasher.
Turnover has been focused in the Premier Market’s shares, but recently, it showed an improvement in the Main Market, the analyst added.
NBK posted the highest liquidity of KWD 2.16 million, the stock added 0.12%>
PetroGulf was the most active stock on which 24.06 million shares were traded, the stock retreated 6.08%.
