Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s session in decline for the first time in July.
The All-Share, Main, and Premier markets retreated by 0.13%, 0.06%, and 0.17%, respectively.
The consumer goods segment led eight decliners with 1%, while the basic materials sector topped four gainers with 0.4%.
Al Masaken International was the top loser with 13.3%, while Aqar headed the winners with 7.7%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover decreased by 8.9% to KWD 24.23 million on Monday from KWD 26.59 million in the previous session after the trading volume shrank by 17.5% to 130.97 million shares from 158.68 million.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 7.24 million, the stock retreated 0.17%.
KGL Logistics was the most active stock on which 14.93 million shares were traded, the stock went up 5.2%.
