Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait ended Monday’s trading session mixed after All-Share Market index inched up 0.13%, Premier Market index edged up 0.22%, while the Main Market index shed 0.02%.
The consumer goods sector increased 0.88%, whereas the basic materials segment decreased 0.45%.
Mena Real Estate’s stock led gainers with 7.41%, whereas the worst performer was Umm Al Qaiwain General Investment Co’s stock with 9.9%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading volume rose 2.9% to 39.63 million shares by the end of Monday, compared to 38.52 million on Sunday, while traded value grew 33.7% to KWD 11.66 million, from KWD 8.72 billion.
Jazeera Airways’ stock, which headed 2.9%, topped the bourse trading value after generating KWD 2.1 million, while Boubyan Bank’s stock, which added 0.6%, led in terms of traded volume after 3.61 million shares were exchanged.
