Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the All-Share and Premier markets added 0.21% and 0.44%, respectively, while the Main market retreated by 0.33%.
The banking segment topped four gainers with 0.5%, while the basic material sector led six decliners with 1.1%.
Privatization Holding headed the winners with 5.07%, while Tamdeen Investment led the losers with 13.5%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 12.6% to KWD 22.35 million on Monday compared to KWD 19.85 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 9.5% to 104.74 million shares from 95.65 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 5.2 million, the stock added 1.25%.
The Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK) was the most active stock on which 17.03 million shares were traded, the stock went down 0.69%.
