Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session higher; the price index went up 0.65% or 43.44 points to close at 6,732.57 points, the weighted index rose 0.49%, and the Kuwait-15 index levelled up 0.24%.
The oil and gas segment topped gainers with 4%, backed by Napesco and PetroGulf which rose 7.99% and 1.76%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the financial services sector led four decliners with 0.15%, dragged by Tahssilat which retreated 15.6% to be the top loser.
The market’s turnover shrank to KWD 7.25 million on Sunday from KWD 8.41 million in the previous session, after the trading volume increased to 51.24 million shares from 47.5 million.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 12.01 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 1.96 million, rising 3.1%.
