Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s session higher for the third consecutive session in line with momentum in trading activity.
The Main, All-Share, and Premier markets gained 1.11%, 0.72%, and 0.59%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover grew to KWD 41.17 million on Sunday from KWD 31.92 million in the prior session, while the trading volume jumped to 452.01 million shares from 143.97 million.
The banking segment topped six gainers with 0.98%, while the oil and gas sector led the decliners with 0.30%.
Ream Real Estate headed the winners with a rise of 16.28%, while Arzan led the losers with 3.51%.
Arzan Financial Group was the most active stock on which 305.21 million shares were exchanged, representing one of the highest trading volume levels in the history of Boursa Kuwait. The stock also acquired the highest liquidity of KWD 8.47 million or 20.57% of the overall trading value.
