Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session with a massive declined, as the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets retreated 0.19%, 0.15%, and 0.28%, respectively.
The basic materials segment led eight decliners with 2.5%, while the oil and gas as well as the telecom sectors were the only gainers with a rise of 1.73% and 1.4%, respectively.
Acico Industries led the losers with 11.5%, while Al Aqariya topped the winners with 21.9%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 30.8% to KWD 6.3 million on Sunday from KWD 9.1 million in the previous session after the trading volume decreased by 18.7% to 39.57 million shares from 48.66 million.
Zain posted the highest trading value of KWD 1.5 million. The stock added 1.6%.
Investors was the most active stock on which 5.5 million shares were exchanged, the stock went down 3.85%.
