Kuwait - Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session with a mixed performance; the price index levelled down by 0.16% or 11.26 points to 6,843.01 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose 0.61% and 0.95%, respectively.
The market’s liquidity shrank to KWD 18.91 million from KWD 24.59 million in the previous session, as trading volume decreased to 174.68 million shares from 275.29 million.
The oil and gas segment led decliners with 3%, dragged by Napesco which lost 6.41% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the banks sector topped five gainers with 0.66%, on the back of Boubyan and NBK which rose 2.47% and 1.47%, respectively.
Taameer was the most active stock on which 37.81 million shares were traded, falling 3.49%.
KFH recorded the highest turnover of KWD 2.62 million, rising 1.01%.
