Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait posted a mixed performance at the closing of Sunday’s trading session.
The price index fell 0.11% or 8.06 points to close at 7,021.37 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose 0.52% and 1.23%, respectively.
The telecom segment led four decliners with 2.1%, dragged by Ooredoo and Viva which lost 5.08% and 3.19%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector topped six gainers with 1.8%, on the back of Energy House which went up 4%.
The market’s liquidity increased to KWD 25.49 million, after the trading volume grew to total 279.45 million shares.
Manazel was the most active stock on which 32.18 million shares were traded, up 0.45%.
Al Imtiaz recorded the highest trading value of KWD 2.91 million, falling 1.11%.
