Kuwait – Mubasher: The main index of Boursa Kuwait gained 0.22% or 14.50 points to close Thursday’s session at 6,670.47 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.38% and 1.06%, respectively.
The oil and gas segment topped gainers, on the back of Senergy which levelled up by 1.90%.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods sector led five decliners with 1.11%, dragged by Danah Al Safat and Livestock which fell by 3.61% and 3.45%, respectively.
Remal was the top winner with a growth of 8.33%, while Automated Systems led losers with a decline of 8.9%.
The market’s liquidity shrank to KWD 15.71 million from KWD 16.26 million in the previous session, and the trading volume decreased to 154.8 million shares from 182.17 million.
Abyaar was the most active stock on which 9.2 million shares were exchanged, rising 2.04%.
KFH posted the highest turnover of KWD 2.25 million, up 1.03%.
