Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of the Boursa Kuwait rose at Thursday’s close by 0.41% or 27.82 points to the level of 6,813.19 points.
The weighted and Kuwait-15 indices also ascended by 0.41% and 0.31%, respectively.
Eight sectors closed on a positive note, topped by the consumer goods sector (+6.01%) as Eyas for Higher and Technical Education rose 17.89%.
The real estate sector advanced 0.19%, backed by an increase of 5.59% in Awj Holding.
The banks sector levelled up 0.09% due to a rise of 1.9% in Ahli United Bank and 0.74% in NBK.
On the other hand, the industrial sector shrank 1.33% as National Industries fell 10.62%.
Al Mowasat Health Care (+20%) was the top gainer, while Manazel Real Estate (-11.53%) was the top loser.
Turnover decreased to KWD 11.55 million from KWD 16.61 million on Wednesday, as trading volume also retreated to 75.18 million shares from 81.16 million shares.
Manazel led the trading activity with a volume of 11.88 million shares, while Agility made the highest turnover of KWD 2.13 million.
