Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s trading session with an increase, as the All-Share market added 0.24% or 12 points to 5,071.31 points, the Premier and Main markets went up 0.19% and 0.33%, respectively.
The financial services and industrial sector topped five gainers with 0.72% each, while the technology segment led the decliners with 10%.
Thursday’s performance at closing is considered an indicator to the monthly closings in line with the improvement that was registered in the US stock markets and oil prices, capital market analyst Badar Al Badr told Mubasher.
IFA was the top winner with 11.6%, while Automated Systems led six decliners with 10%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover grew by 14.7% to KWD 16.9 million on Thursday from KWD 14.74 million in the previous session after the trading volume increased by 26.4% to 120.98 million shares from 95.7 million.
NBK posted the highest liquidity of KWD 3.28 million, the stock added 0.24%.
Aayan Leasing was the most active stock on which 16.35 million shares were traded, the stock went up 1.65%.
