Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s trading session in the red zone; the price index lost 0.68% or 45.94 points to reach 6,752.79 points which is the lowest level since mid-March.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices fell by 0.82% and 1.02%, respectively, reaching their lowest level in four months.
The market’s liquidity increased to KWD 18.82 million, and the trading volume grew to 146.77 million shares.
The financial services segment led nine decliners with 1.64%, dragged by Kuwait Syrian Holding which lost 6.33%.
Meanwhile, the insurance and the industrial sectors were the only gainers with 0.84% and 6.7%, respectively.
First Takaful rose by 6.7% to be the top winner.
PetroGulf was the most active stock on which 10.1 million shares were exchanged, falling by 4.55%.
NBK recorded the highest turnover of KWD 3.1 million, down 1.47%.
