Kuwait – Mubasher: The main index of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s trading session in the red zone, losing 0.09% or 6.3 points to 6,725.78 points.
Both the Kuwait-15 and weighted indices retreated by 0.7% and 0.37%, respectively.
The technology segment led decliners with 0.72%, dragged by Osos which retreated by 2.9%.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector topped three gainers with 1.5%, on the back of IPG which rose by 6%.
The market’s trading value shrank to KWD 14.39 million from KWD 20.38 million in the previous session. The trading volume decreased to 155.86 million shares from 256.31 million.
Taameer was the most active stock on which 19.38 million shares were exchanged.
AUB recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 2.85 million.
