Mubasher: The All-Share Market index went down 0.66% or 38.81 points to close Thursday’s session at 5,853.13 points.
Similarly, the Premier Market index retreated 1%, while the Main Market index added 0.31%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 17.7% to KWD 41.22 million on Thursday from KWD 35.03 million in the previous session, in line with an increase of 17.9% in the trading volume to 206.86 million shares from 175.41 million.
The performance of Boursa Kuwait on Thursday was similar to the rest of the GCC stock markets due to the geological situation, especially with what happened in the Gulf of Oman, capital market analyst Moustafa Al Jarhi told Mubasher.
The industrial sector led seven decliners with 0.97%, while the technology sector topped four gainers with 9.91%.
Energy House was the top loser with a fall of 11.94%, while Tamdeen Real Estate headed the gainers with 16.84%.
KFH posted the highest liquidity of KWD 6.17 million, the stock retreated 0.86%.
Al Madina for Finance was the most active stock on which 22.04 million shares were exchanged, the stock retreated 9.3%.
