Mubasher: The benchmark price index added 0.32% or 20.5 points to close Tuesday’s session at 6,518.99 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose by 0.61% and 0.74%, respectively.
The insurance segment topped five gainers with 2.2%, while the consumer goods sector led four decliners with 0.4%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 14% to KWD 11.91 million on Tuesday compared to KWD 13.85 million on Monday after the trading volume decreased by 19.5% to 86.87 million shares from 107.87 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 2 million.
Mena Real Estate was the most active stock on which 10 million shares were exchanged.
