Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading session with a massive increase for the second session in a row in line with active trades.
The All-Share, Main, and Premier markets added 1.21%, 0.64%, and 1.51%, respectively.
The technology sector topped eleven gainers with 5%, followed by the telecom and insurance segments with 2.2% and 1.77%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait registered zero decliners in Tuesday’s session.
Tahssilat headed the winners with 10%, while Wethaq led the decliners with 6.45%.
The stock exchange registered the highest liquidity in eight months after it surged by 144.5% to KWD 30.32 million on Tuesday from KWD 12.4 million on Monday.
The trading volume was the highest since February 2018, rising by 57.5% to 117.77 million shares from 74.76 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest turnover of KWD 7.04 million, the stock added 1.2%.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) was the most active stock on Tuesday, with 10.51 million shares, the stock went up 57.5%.
