Boursa Kuwait closes Tuesday in decline

Mubasher: The indices of Buorsa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading session with a negative performance; the Premier, Main, and All-Share markets went down 0.11% each.

The performance of Boursa Kuwait was disappointing after the increase witnessed when opening the session on Tuesday, capital market analyst Saad Al Rumi told Mubasher.

Al Rumi added that despite its decline, the All-Share Market remains stable above the main support level of 5,100 points; this indicates to a possibility of rebounding in the coming sessions.

The All-Share index may face resistance at 5,200 points if it breaks the main support level, he added.

The financial services segment led five decliners with 0.6%, while the oil and gas sector headed the gainers with 0.55%.

Mena Real Estate was the top loser with 10%, while KAMCO headed the winners with 9.2%.

Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity increased by 3.9% to KWD 12.25 million on Tuesday from KWD 11.79 million in the prior session after the trading volume grew by 10% to 69.22 million shares from 76.87 million.

AUB Bahrain was the most active stock on which 8.67 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 1.8 million, the stock went up 1.5%.
