Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s session higher in line with an increase in turnover.
The All-Share Market index gained 55.28 points or 0.98% to close at 5,681.98 points, while both the Main and Premier markets added 0.9% and 1.01%, respectively.
The general trend in Boursa Kuwait is still positive, with the All-Share Market continuing to register high new levels that are backed by heavy purchasing performance, deputy head of the investment research unit at KAMCO Raed Diab told Mubasher.
The telecom segment topped eight gainers with 1.23%, while the technology sector led three decliners with 10%.
Munshaat headed the winners with 9.08%, while Tahssilat was the top loser with a decline of 10%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increase by 17.1% to KWD 49.55 million on Tuesday from KWD 42.31 million in the previous session, in line with a growth of 16.5% in the trading volume to 181.59 million shares from 155.87 million.
KFH posted the highest liquidity of KWD 11.37 million, up 0.15%.
National Industries was the most active stock on which 24.19 million shares were traded, the stock added 3.06%.
