Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait ended Tuesday’s trading session 0.31% or 21.58 points higher at 7,029.78 points.
The market’s turnover amounted to KWD 21.11 million, after 283.4 million shares were exchanged.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose by 0.26% and 0.22%, respectively.
The banks segment topped eight gainers with 0.75%, on the back of KIB which levelled up 3.92%.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods segment led three decliners with 0.89%, dragged by Americana which lost 2.4%.
Abyaar was the most active stock on which 28.29 million shares were traded, up 1.67%.
KIB recorded the highest trading value of KWD 1.6 million, rising 3.92%.
