Mubasher: The main index of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading session 0.43% or 28.6 points lower at 6,598.97 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.04% and 0.02%, respectively.
The market’s trading value increased to KWD 12.83 million from KWD 10.64 million in the previous session, and the trading volume grew to 135.07 million shares from 119.95 million.
The financial services sector led seven decliners with 1.05%, dragged by Al Deera which dropped 7.58% to post the lowest level in 13 months.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods segment topped four gainers with 2.15%, on the back of Palms Agro Production which jumped 10% to be the top winner.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 11.45 million shares were exchanged.
KFH recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 1.39 million.
