Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s trading session in the green zone on the back of eight gainers.
The price index gained 0.48% or 32.16 points to close at 6,670.93 points, the weighted index went up 0.25%, and the Kuwait-15 index rose 0.12%.
The consumer services sector topped gainers with 4.28%, backed by Kuwait Cinema which jumped 20%.
Meanwhile, the banks segment led three decliners with 0.12%, dragged by AUB which lost 1.44%.
The market’s turnover grew to KWD 10.33 million on Wednesday from KWD 9.8 million in the previous session, as the trading volume increased to 54.45 million shares from 45.45 million.
Remal was the most active stock on which 9.92 million shares were traded, rising 18.26%.
Mabanee recorded the highest trading value of KWD 1.79 million, up 0.27%.
