Mubasher: The All-Share Market index closed Wednesday’s trading session 0.47% higher.
Similarly, the Premier Market index went up 0.67%, while the Main Market closed unchanged.
The consumer goods segment topped seven gainers with 2.37%, while the insurance sector led three decliners with 0.66%.
Shuaiba Industrial was the top winner with a rise of 8.7%, while Wethaq led the losers with a decline of 9.1%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 2.2% to KWD 25.98 million on Wednesday compared to KWD 25.43 million on Thursday, the last session before National holidays.
The trading volume decreased by 16.1% to 97.52 million shares from 116.29 million.
The Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK), which added 1.43% to close at 283 fils, was the most active stock on which 18.18 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 5.11 million.
