Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday with a massive decline for the second session in a row in line with a drop in the trading activity.
The All-Share, Premier, and Main markets retreated by 0.05%, 0.01%, and 0.13%, respectively.
The basic materials segment led the decliners with 1.45%, while the telecom segment topped the gainers with 0.33%.
Tahssilat led the decliners with 14.3%, while Osos topped the gainers with 9.8%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 39.8% to KWD 20.33 million on Wednesday from KWD 33.76 million in the previous session after the trading volume shrank by 34.9% to 99.98 million shares from 153.54 million.
Ahli United Bank (AUB) Bahrain was the most active stock on which 22.77 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 4.82 million, the stock went down 0.47%.
