Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait finished the week ended on 2 May in red territory, marking the second weekly decline in a row.
The All-Share Market index shed 10.65 points, or 0.19%, to 5,694.96 points, the Premier Market index fell 11.55 points, or 0.19%, to 6,125.81 points, and the Main Market index tumbled 8.9 points, or 0.18%, to 4,866.32 points.
Over the course of this week, the bourse’s trading volume slumped 45.2% to 424.86 million shares from 775.11 million a week earlier, while liquidity decreased by 26.7% to KWD 90.73 million, compared to KWD 123.79 million.
The number of deals went down 19.2% to 24,430 transactions from 30,220 in the previous week.
Boursa Kuwait’s market capitalisation fell KWD 70 million, or 0.21%, to KWD 32.74 million by the end of this week from KWD 32.81 million.
