Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed July with a grouped increase in line with a surge in liquidity.
The All-Share Market increased by 5.67% or 277 points to 5,167.59 points from 4,932.98 points in June.
The Main Market went up 1.43% or 69.5 points to 4,932.98 points from 4,863.51 points.
Similarly, the Premier Market gained 8% or 392 points to 5,296.99 points from 4,904.82 points.
Market cap inclined by 5.8% or KWD 1.55 billion ($5.13 billion) month-on-month to KWD 28.49 billion in July compared to KWD 26.94 billion in June.
By the end of July, trading value soared by 161.6% to KWD 633.36 million from KWD 242.11 million in June.
The trading volume grew by 186.6% to 2.92 billion shares from 1.02 billion in the prior month.
Transactions increased by 166.3% to about 126,510 in July from approximately 47,500 in June.
