Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session with positive performance after the Premier, All-Share, and Main markets inched up 0.76%, 0.68%, and 0.47%, respectively.
The bourse’s liquidity fell to KWD 19.93 million from KWD 22.03 million on Sunday, while traded volume stood at 62.16 million shares, down from 72.30 million in the previous session.
The oil and gas sector topped the gainers with 1.49%, whereas the real estate sector led the losers with 0.28%.
Burgan Company for Well Drilling, Trading and Maintenance led the winners with 10%, whereas Taameer Real Estate Investment’s stock was the worst performer with 12.50%.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), which levelled up 1.04%, topped the bourse in terms of volume and value after 5.8 million shares were exchanged with a turnover of KWD 5.6 million.
