Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait ended Monday’s trading session 0.45% or 30.5 points lower to 6,711.57 points. Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.42% and 0.81%, respectively.
The oil and gas segment led eight decliners with a fall of 1.41%, dragged by IPG which retreated by 3.6%.
Meanwhile, the technology and insurance sector were the only gainers with 1.10% and 0.26%, respectively.
The market’s liquidity shrank to KWD 21.44 million, after 279.43 million shares were exchanged.
Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 40.3 million shares were traded.
Al Imtiaz recorded the highest liquidity that totalled KWD 2.1 million, falling 3.09%.
Palms Agro was the top loser with a fall of 13.39%, while Equipment Holding led gainers with a 9.4% rise.
