Mubasher: The benchmark index of Boursa Kuwait ended Sunday’s trading session 0.69% or 46.85 points to 6,857.56 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.55% and 0.38%, respectively.
The telecom segment topped eight gainers with 2.08%, on the back of Zain which rose by 3.45%.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods sector led four decliners with 1.86%, dragged by Kuwait Slaughter House which lost 7.8% to be the top loser.
The turnover increased to KWD 41.81 million, as trading volume grew to 437.78 million shares.
Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 31.1 million shares were traded.
KFH recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 7.9 million.
